DHIRA BAREIN/ Birds Prey
Birds Prey
Blindfolded and seated in a lotus posture, she cradles a small bird in her hands. Her blue-green glazed body is still as water, yet the moment feels alive. The bird hovers near her lips, waiting for a kiss. Though she cannot see it, she trusts it completely.
The sculpture is a reminder that what we fear most is often what we long to love. between breath and touch, she teaches that trust begins where sight ends.
